Scheduling

15 December 2005, 07:00 by Chad Reynoldson

As my adventure into self-employment begins, I’ve already identified the single hardest task, scheduling.

I was struggling with scheduling until I read Joel’s Painless Software Scheduling method. This method helps me remain focused on the tasks at hand.

This method is implemented into this web application voo2do. This web application along with implementing Joel’s scheduling method have helped me tremendously and I hope it can help you too.

A schedule is like wood blocks. If you have a bunch of wood blocks, and you can’t fit them into a box, you have two choices: get a bigger box, or remove some blocks.

Every minute you spend in planning saves 10 minutes in execution.
