We've got a fax number

Well I’ve done it. I’ve purchased an online fax service . The new fax number is 800-446-0649. Again, that number is 800-446-0649. Call within the next 10 minutes and receive a cheap gift that you’ll throw away.
I decided to go with an online service because it will email me incoming faxes. This way if I’m on a job site, I can still receive faxes, plus it saves me buying a fax machine and an additional phone line.
I tried getting along without a fax machine in this 21st century, but it isn’t working out. I’m needing to send and receive faxes more frequently than I’d imagined.
I had a work-around. I’d attach a scanner to the PC, scan the paper, connect the PC to the modem, then send the fax. Not a bad solution, but I was constantly getting the flat-bed scanner down. I was also using the PC to receive faxes, but it quickly became cumbersome with coordinating with the caller to send the fax after hanging up.
