xPerinet MIRV

I have recently used the xPerinet module in a project. At the time, the website had a version listed as “AMX Module revised 7/12/2006” and another version listed as “AMX Beta-1” which I used. I’m happy to report that it seemed to work as promised, although I could not get it to work via RS-232. I switched it over to IP control and it worked fine.
I had since received an email saying they have updated the module to a beta-2, which says it fixes some bugs and is the next generation duet version. Well no thanks for that, I’ll stick with the netlinx version.
My only complaint is the integration of the touch panel for the MIRV and rolling it into our own GUI. You have to integrate the MIRV page with a “Back” button. So the navigation for my locally controlled sources flows nicely, until I select the MIRV. Then I need to branch the GUI off in the MIRV direction, with a single “Back” button to get back to my own.
