CNN Headline News (Atlanta,GA August 2001)
Provided custom robotic camera control of 18 studio cameras installed on the AMX AXB-PT30 pan/tilt unit, using 3 AXP-PLV posipilot controller units. Camera presets programmed with timers to provide movement effects when going into commercial breaks.
CNN Master Control (Atlanta,GA September 1999)
Provided master control using GPIO readings from the broadcast equipment, as well as production switcher status. Code controlled the bottom headline banner as well as controlling the CNN bug logo.
CNN Control Room B (Atlanta,GA 1998)
Provided control in control room B implementing router control of camera signals to various displays for the production staff.
Citigroup Private Bank (New York,NY January 2005)
Provided custom solution for boardroom, executive conference room, multi-purpose training room, video conferencing room, and av support help desk. AMX Meeting Manager was also integrated into each system for resource monitoring.
Goldman Sachs Roadshow Rooms (Chicago,IL March 2005)
Three room divisable conference room with video conferencing, ligting, a/v source control, and source routing.
Large Residence (Denver,CO June 2004)
Large residence integrating lighting, security, thermostats, 49 zones of audio/video, 53 sources, weather stations, and a home theater, controlled by 40 touch panels around the house.
CalTrans District 11 (San Diego,CA September 2003)
This is a control room for traffic control in San Diego. Integrated camera routing and control through a Baxall IP camera control system. Web control touch panels allowed for 50 user panels and 10 administrative panels. Integrated I!-Database Plus application to read detailed camera information to be displayed on the web panels.
Hayward City Council (Hayward,CA August 2004)
Reverse-engineered the existing audio/video/voting system, then re-wrote the code with I!-Voting application integration.
AMX Platinum Solutions (September 2002)
Designed framework solutions for education, entertainment, and presentation vertical markets, branded and sold by AMX as the “Platinum Solutions”.
Residential Framework (Boston,MA June 2003)
Designed template framework for a residential dealer, where they used the code as the baseline for all of their installations.
DTE Energy Trading Floors (March 2002)
Integrated custom control for DSS farm, plasma, and a/v routing using I!-Database Plus application as the system-wide configuration tool. An administrator could populate a database to define plasma turn on/off times, available DSS routes to plasmas, user/group management, and various details allowing certain users and areas control of the system.
AMX Engineering Resource
Utilized as an AMX Engineering resource as a Netlinx expert on several projects. Moved on to XML/XSL development for web interfaces to several pieces of AMX hardware.
